Danstoy ITB kit update

So I decided to sweep the net again this morning for information about this Danstoy ITB kit and found some interesting information.

[1] I THINK he used 44mm ITB's from a Honda CBR1000RR
[2] He made the kit thinking it would sell like crazy in the Scion crowd, but like our crowd he found that few were willing to spend that much money, etc etc, so now he is selling his car and getting out of the Scion crowd altogether
[3] Because of this, he is now stuck with a few ITB kits
[4] He is willing to sell the mechanical parts of the kit for $1000
[5] He has a pretuned standalone to sell that is garaunteed to plug and play for an xA. It would probably need work for a Yaris, but it would work.
[6] Expected gains are about 35 HP, but from what he says the powerband is more solid and the kit should make for a faster car than a S/C 1NZ.

All in all, I think this is a killer opportunity. If I had $1500 to drop on the kit, that standalone and a tune I'd probably do it. Anyone feeling daring?

Could you imagine?!?!

Looks killer and I'm sure it works well... but what about an air filter? Seems a little sketchy having open TB on a steet car.

Does a Honda CBR1000RR have DBW? If so, I'm probably right on my guess.

no, this would not pass emissions. What you see there is a pretty serious project, and if it includes a standalone management, the wiring harness alone will be an effort.

i see a tps sensor on the end..which is from pre-dbw...hence why it would fit the xa/xb
