I'm anxiously awaiting engine spces. Also, because this is technically a "concept," does that mean that won't hear whether or not this is actually coming to market?

a concept should look more like a concept...
they should've put some fender flares...
protruding front bumper...
rally style wing...
...etc...

I agree. However, the more ordinary a concept car looks, the closer it is to actual production.

Am I the only one who finds it weird that there is hardly any info on this concept car? The only info is from leftlanenews.com. Nothing on Autoweek.com about it, nothing on Edmunds.com about it ...

That is what happens when no one thinks the car will come to this country.

Either that or when the car isn't coming to this country.

But, honestly, there are pics of other cars that for sure aren't coming to the U.S. (Daihatsus, etc.). But no Yaris T-Sport coverage.

Sorry, no. The car is only a few months old. I will wait until I see more choices in the market e.g. hybrids, diesels, all wheel drives etc.

On another post someone pointed out the Vitz in Japan has an AWD version available.

I think a 2 door hatch with AWD might be the perfect vehicle.

I doubt it, as it will compete with the Matrix. However, I would take the Yaris AWD over the Matrix AWD at anytime!
