Sorry to learn about your knee. I hope switching to an automatic helps nip your discomfort in the bud. Are you getting rid of your GT-R as well , or is that driven sparingly enough that your knee isn't an issue ?

GTR has no clutch!!!

My left knee was rebuilt after a motorcycle crash, in the late 80s.
Needles to say, the parts are wearing down!!

Looking at a Mini for a DD

Same with my left ankle (from slipping in the dark on a rain soaked tarp) in the late 90s. Ten more years before I might have discomfort (), unless the technology improved between the late 80s and the late 90s.

Good choice if you have to go with an automatic and sportiness and small size are important.

I believe his power windows are an aftermarket affair.

Just bought a new 2013 Mini Cooper S.

Had to get the Turbo with an AT, else no power.

$3K under MSRP 0.0% financing 48 months!!

Think I should return the Yaris to stock? Will it sell quicker??

On my own property no less. How boring! After I healed, one of my relatives had almost the same injury, but it was while playing in a UC Intramural Soccer or Rugby game (can't remember which). A woman I know also had a similar injury (before mine) from sliding into home plate scoring the winning run in a baseball game. With the pain I went through, I wish the injury had occurred amid a more memorable scenario than slipping on a tarp.

Congrats ! We (YW members) appreciate the sharp, understated upgrades you added to your '12, but I wonder if the market in your metro would. I'd think it would sell quicker if you took the mods off...but then you'd have to sell them instead of the OEM parts they replaced. Unless.....you gave them to your son, for the Yaris he drives (assuming it doesn't have those mods)!

He doesn't share your passion for cars ?.........Or just doesn't want to think about it until his pockets are deep enough $ ?

To him, a car goes from point A to point B.
But bring up guitars and amps, he spends more onthose than I do on modding my cars!!

So I guess Ill be swapping parts this weekend.

Still trying to convince my son to take my alloys in trade for his steelies and hub caps!! We have the same mileage!
Technically, his car is my 2nd company car!!

Oh gosh, I do want alloys for mine eventually...maybe...but I love the 2nd generation ones. Oh boy, I sure hope you get what you are asking, that would be great - they really hold their value from what I can see out there looking at the ads for them and whatnot. I wish you the best of luck for a quick sale...!
