Did you ever get a chance to see if the Mazda3 thread pitch was the same as the Yaris?

If cali yaris says it doesn't fit, I'll roll with that. It doesn't fit!

My mistake, I didn't even see his post about that above

According to this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-YARIS-V...QQcmdZViewItem
the Jazz & Yaris look to have the same thread pitch. I have a USDM Fit and don't wanna order a tow hook that isn't the same thread pitch.

Anyone wanna ship me their oem Yaris tow hook and I can ship them my oem Fit tow hook to confirm?

If the thread pitch is the same, then iAJ Racing has a special going for the T1R front tow hook for $90 here:
http://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-v...-part-1-a.html

Reason I'm not ordering the T1R is because I want the black on black tow hook.

The aluminum one off eBay is not as good as it could be. I'll post a few pics of it in real life for ya.
I sorta thought the thread was dead, that's why I asked if there was any updates. As for the quality I trust that you know what you are doing by having higher quality ones made at a shop. Props to you for putting a lot of time and effort into it

here is the one i want to get:

(capture from a Japanese VITZ magzine.)

I think that should be produced by TRD.
looks better than others on ebay...right?
i'm trying to buy it through my friend in japan.

The one on eBay is pretty cheap. I'm having some made in stainless steel. If you can get that one from TRD, let us know, I'm sure some people on here will want one!

The tow hook from Japan does not fit the USDM Yaris, i know through personal experience. Apparently the bumper beam for the japanese model is different. So the tow hook doesnt fit. But what you can do is order the one from Japan and using the crappy stock tow hook, weld half and half together. It worked well for us and here is a pic =). Anyother questions feel free to ask.

I will have them at some point, but it may take a little while. I sent off a sample to my manufacturer. They will make a prototype. If I approve the prototype, they'll do a run of probably 50-100. This process could take a month or more, just so you know.

The eBay one is ok, just not as good as I want for my own car.
