AWD Conversion for Yaris sedan/Vios/Belta?
I was reading random car pages on wikipedia, and noticed that the Toyota Belta was listed under the "All Wheel Drive Vehicles" category. According to the article, the chassis code "NCP96" is the version of the Belta that came with AWD. Unfortunately, this version was Japan-only.
Would converting a North American Yaris sedan (NCP93) to AWD using the NCP96's parts be possible? And if so, where would I even get these parts? Has this even been attempted before? It's probably just a pipe dream, but the idea of an AWD Yaris sedan sounds amazing. |

either lift the car or make a tunnel for the drive shaft. also we dont know if the 1.3 awd tranny will even fit the 1.5. some thinkers around me say a classic rav4 2dr setup might just work.
