Used for only a month or so, bought it from the dealership. Could use a good cleaning with some Nevr-Dull, but otherwise perfect. It does lower the tone of the exhaust just slightly and looks really good on the car.

Does using one of these adversely affect performance? ie cause restrictions in flow or anything? I think I would like it but not sure if my little car has any ponies to spare.

It doesn't take anything away form performance.. at all. And if it does it'll be negligible. I have this one, and it actually makes a funky thrum when you hit the throttle. It sounds like a silenced exhaust actually.

just buy it. it looks good, and it wouldn't be a big loss of money if you changed your mind. if i didn't already have a fart can I'd get it....you know what...ill ask the muffler shop if they can convert mine back and i may buy it.

I have this. It's real nice and does produce a light tone. I keep it on my stock exhaust for when I get tired of the interior noise from my currently mounted TRD exhaust.
