Yaris TS 1.8L History and Specs
From: PAULTAN.ORG
2007 Toyota Yaris TS 1.8 Dual VVT-i Akso known as Yaris SR in the United Kingdom. Toyota has revaled the new flagship Toyota Yaris model called the Toyota Yaris TS at the 2006 Paris Motor Show. The new Toyota Yaris TS is powered by Toyota’s new flagship Dual VVT-i 1.8 liter engine which makes 130bhp at 6,000rpm and max torque of 173Nm at 4,400rpm, compared to the Yaris 1.5 liter’s 109hp at 6,000rpm and 142Nm of torque at 4,200rpm. With the new Dual VVT-i engine, Valve timing is adjusted on both intake and exhaust valves. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The little hatch goes from 0-100km/h in 9.3 seconds. Other enhancements to the Toyota Yaris TS over the base model include suspension improvements - the front suspension has been reinforced, gains a thicker anti-roll bar and a linking rod has been introduced between the rear suspension members. The ride is also lowered by 8mm. Other than ride height, further external differences include a new black mesh grille with a TS badge, darkened headlamps, a deeper bumper with integrated foglights, a new rear bumper with integrated exhaust tailpipes and fog lights, as well as new LED rear lamp clusters. Look from the side and you will see nice 17 inch alloy wheels that fill up the wheel arches as well as deep side skirts. There is also a roof spoiler for the rear. Both three-door and five-door versions of the Toyota Yaris TS will be on sale from February 2007. More photos after the jump. The price will be different in every country, depends on local taxes and other factors.
For example the Yaris TS is a Europen model, if you want one out Europe ( Like mine) is going to be a special order probably. Quote:
... and Yes, the T-Sport comes equipped with a smart start system (Push Bottom start) and automatic clima control. Mine does. Not quite! Close but not as nice... the xD is a little heavier, has no rear brake discs, not as many safety features (9 airbags for example) is geared different and not as loaded as the TS. Mine was way more than that. But taxes for new cars down here are quote high so it's not really a point of comparison. |

CASTREX an other question how much yours cost you arond 19,000.00 dollars or 22,000.00 and also what about the parts for the engine because if you say that only 5 where shiped to Costa Rica it should be a Pain in you know where to get parts or they are easy to get there in costa rica i know that here in panama the owners of Corolla's Tsport have a lot of trouble getting parts for that engine and in the end they just sale the car

Wow that's about nine thousand uk pounds for a standard yaris! I had a 1 litre before my new one, as standard as you can get, over here they call it the T2, or trim 2, and it cost me 7,100. You guys seem to pay a lot for your cars.
