SE turning radius

Toyota calls it diameter

Turning circle diameter, curb to curb (ft.) 31.5 L-LE vs 36.1 on the SE

Those 5 (almost) extra feet make a big difference!

I immediately noticed this when compared to the rental Yaris L I had for a month last year.

Slightly more difficult to zip in/ out of tight places.

I've never driven an L/LE, but I have the most ridiculously awkward angle to make daily to get into my little single size garage opening built right next to the double-size garage opening of our house (it's a triple garage technically), and I can still manage it (barely) - probably due to the sheer diminutive size of the Yaris.

Larger tires is part of the issue.

That's true. There were only 14" tires on my old Fiesta and I could turn around easily without additional manoeuvring. When I jumped into Yaris I was pretty shocked how horrible the radius was.
What to do, but now I can enjoy the comfort of a new car instead of baking in the old one
