Streets Of Willow track day - Non Yaris Warning.

We had a ton of fun. Streets is a great track to learn at, and the Cobra was very well suited to the track layout. SpeedTrial USA was the organizer of this event. I ran beginner group and I found the exercises they had us do on track were extremely helpful and the 1 on 1 time with the instructors was great. I went out with a friend (other white Cobra), and the orange Cobra was on of the instructors.

Both the white cars handled way beyond our expectations in every regard. The Cobra has way more potential than I have ability.

Ashley

Here is the highlight reel!

My friend in the other white Cobra and I were both about even. We took turns swapping who was leading and who was following. We were trying to keep up with the orange Cobra and passing other people in the process.

There is over 300 pics. I'm still going through them all.

the cobra out preformed your abities? It ain't real had to out preform a Cobra in the twisties, A Supra on the other hand is another beast made to handle the twisties

You truly are a misinformed idiot. Not that a Cobra (or a Supra) is some world class handling car, but if you think all Mustangs a good for is going in a straight line, it is time to bring your head out of the Fast and Furious sand. I had no trouble pulling away from the only Supra there in one of my runs, as well as the 997 Turbo.

Here is a in car video of the orange Cobra with the black hood. Really looks like an ill handling brick to me passing prosches, corvettes and about every car on the track. The white evo was on r compounds, and the Cobra is on Kumho MXs

Thanks!

The setup I am running now consists of the following:

Coilovers with CC plates, solid steering shaft and rack bushings, all urethane sway bar bushings, Brembo Cobra R calipers and Kumho MX tires.

The car has about 475 RWHP.

No just ported the eaton :) The big blowers make too much heat on the roadcourse.

I have subframe connectors already. I need a front strut brace still though. Besides new K member and tubular A arms I have just about everything for the suspension either installed or sitting in the garage :)

I'm contemplating a cage, but will probably hold off for awhile.
