how about going 195/50/16??

i was gonna order the same size of tires,
but i guess now i have to go with 205-40-16... or maybe 205-45-16.

How about 195/50/R16 tyres with 16 X 7 +38 whells? Will they rub let say if i install Tanabe NF210?

should be ok chaser... 195/50R16 is not an easy tire size to find though

It will be a tight fit, but it should clear okay without rubbing.

195/50's are Japanese OEM, so you should have no problems with many tire brands from which to choose.

Thanks kimona54.. I already purchased those wheels, haven't put them to my car but i'm sure it will fine if unlowered but i'm planning to dump the car with Tanabe NF210, so it become a concern.
I'm using Toyo Proxes 4 tyres.

Cali yaris runs 16x7's, ET38, with 195/50's, and is Tanabe NF210 lowered.

Apparently, he had some rubbing issues with 205/50's, but eliminated the problem by switching to 195/50's.

So, I think you should be okay with your wheels and 195/50 Toyo's.

Don't forget to post some photos...
