There is one in the market, the Weapon R. And another one in the pipeline, ChinoCharles Intake. Do a search for both.

Weapon-r is only one so far. It has been dyno tested. Also, the CAI sits in the bumper very well and the only way to hydro lock is if you turn your Yaris into a submarine...

Yow, I will finally be able to afford one. Do I need to get on a waiting list?

JUST INSTALLED WEAPON R

We just installed the Weapon R Cold Air Intake in my Yaris down at Weapon R. We DID NOT do the RAM AIR as of yet, and the bends to get it to the Yaris intake will be tricky (it's a 3dr. if it makes a diff.) but do-able.

My impression of the Weapon R CAI:
Looks- It looks great! Very nice welds, the best looking filter on the market (get MX foam filter oil- UNI or Motorex... or NoToil if you are green). The polish is great, and with the WR sticker in place, it's tuneriffic.

Sound- Without load on the motor, I was wondering where the wonderful sound was... Sure, it sounded BETTER, but I was hoping for a ballsier sound... then I put it in gear and left... BAM!! This thing sounds AWESOME!

Seat of the Pants- Ok, so I remember reading that people's experience with their CAI was worse milegae due to wanting to hear it more. I am a squid as well, so this will likely be the case. I can say the total power increase is certainly inline with the Weapon R claims, although 5th gear is where I REALLY noticed the improvement on the highway. It definitely motored along with less strain when I was getting on the gas in 5th. That to me shows the better torque and improved throttle response.

Conclusion- This is a beautifully made, and fully tested product. It sounds awesome and provides a real-world noticable gain in performance. I chose Weapon R because they put the real numbers up on the forum and are local to me. After seeing their facility in South San Francisco and their shop rides, they are the REAL DEAL and I recommend their products with confidence! We have 2 project Yaris' and will be posting pictures up at the end of the weekend of before and after...

PM me with Q's... this is BY FAR the best value in CAI... it should be $279.00

I am too, although I must admit I'm getting a bit impatient... The only thing that's keeping me from grabbing a Weapon R is the price factor (isn't it always? )

I really hope there's some news on the CCRD front soon...

I think you can find the weapon R and a K&N setup online for about 170, maybe less if you look harder. You should find a local performance parts dealer in your area, usually they are more than happy to beat even the lowest online pricing. A friend of mine owns a shop out here by me - so i get things for my car at a decent price. they were able to get me the weapon R for 130 something or 140. But I'm a label whore and went with the Blitz for its simplicity and quality at 120. Shop around

Just drill some big holes in your stock air box while waiting

Tell your buddy he can sale a bunch for that price and set up a group buy! I personally would buy 2 different systems at that price and experiment.
