Hey I have a manual and cant imaging having a Auto. I think that the Yaris here in Oz has a decent amount of power for the price and its category. Here in OZ we a have a 12 point system were if you loose it you loose your license well. I have had my Yaris for 4 Months and have had 3 fines and a loss of 2 points. So right now im not looking for more power in my Yaris.

Slap some smaller/lighter diameter than stock wheels/tires on ( 195/50 or 45x15's) a free flowing intake and a performance exhaust and you will be pleasantly surprised.

For what I bought this car for, the speed/HP is fine with me.

I beat a 95 civic 0-80 mph yay
Lost to a 05 prius tho, lost by 2 cars or so, 0-60 mph The Yaris is one of the slowest cars on the market, i think it'd take an aveo tho. 0-60 is like 10 seconds or so, point is, its gonna be slow. |

true but i have heard of some places checking the car first to see if it was the dealer's fault or the owner's fault. From what i've heard is that if they discover the automatic vlave body broken from excess pressure, then it's enough evidence that the driver has been auto sticking and that they can charge you for it. not sure though.... |

With the car so cheap, you can pay it off faster and by a bike/sports car. BTW i love this car!

HAHA...dont street race kids. (im a kid though..im 20)
i was thinking the same thing when i read the first page..im kinda sad caught that one before i did.. Yaris, Fit, Versa, theyre all economy cars, you guys shouldnt expect to blow the doors off anything, except, people on bicycles...nice kill These cars are built with one purpose in mind, economy (well initially, anyway). |

Tis the previous model, but it's nice to see some inspiration. There is also a Touge Battle in one of my Best Motoring videos with a blue Yaris/Vitz built by Yashio Factory. Pretty impressive.

the cars start off slow, but since they are lightweight economy machines, they can be built..
like the Yashio Factory car or the spoon Fit. kinda like the old civic hb's they started out slow, but look at them now, even though some are ricey. |
