old article about blitz s/c but interesting info..

Hey guys I stumbled on this. Im sure some of you guys have seen it at one point.

http://turbohightechperformance.auto...ris/index.html

the article talks about the work blitz did to the car, and claims it to have an increase of 41hp to the flywheel with just the blitz s/c and exhaust..
the car doesnt have anything else done to it but springs and cosmetics

has anyone seen a power gain like this with their kit? ive been reading so far that the norm seems to be around 30.

for example, the turbo magazine project yaris only made 21hp over stock with basically the same mods (blitz s/c and nur spec exhaust)

article: http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/07...ris/index.html

are we doing something wrong or was there something blitz wasnt telling us?

i for one know that if it made an extra 40 over stock id be far more inclined to buy it

Yea there In a difference between flywheel and at the wheels. The tranny always causes power loss. Kind of how the car is rated 103 HP stock and everyone that threw their stock car on a dyno was only getting right around 90 HP*** Very cool artical too***

After reading the two articles, it makes me wonder if the CVT transmission makes a difference...
