Just got ps3 needs ideas on addictive games....

ok i know someone will say why now.. well i actually didnt want to get it to begin with its just i found out itll be harder to get the big model ps3 discontinued which has the better blueray drive on them..so here i am with a new ps3 160g and paid $310 cnd including tax..unfortunetely no games.

borrowed games fr a friend so far...

*heavenly sword. finished in 3 nights total hours aprrox 6-7 hours great game
*uncharted 1.. finished yesterday total spend approx 8-9 hrs. game got better along the way..

next game? msg4, infamous,prototype

but what else is out there thats good and addictive??????

well Gran Tourismo 5 comes out in like march I think... it'll have like 5 versions of the yaris/vitz I believe... So... I vote for that once it comes out.

LITTLE BIG PLANET

also i loved Mirrors Edge but it is quite frankly the most frustrating game ever made. still i loved the challenge. very short though, much like Heavenly Sword.

MGS4 was kind of a let down in my opinion. i haven't even finished it. maybe it was the story. as crazy as the storyline usually is in MGS this one was just a little too WAY out there and i lost interest.

and if you like racing you could try Grid until GT5 comes out. i think it's a good balance between enjoyable arcade racing and driving sim.

and another game i was seriously addicted to, like in a bad way, was Warhawk. it's a little dated now so i'm not sure how much fun it would be these days. it is solely an online based game and i haven't been on in a while but i suppose there are still a whole bunch people playing. i guess.

then go buy a wii so you can play the new super mario bros wii game for hours and hours and hours and hours and....

I'll second that...Modern Warfare 2 is IMO the most addicting multi-player game available for the ps3(at least that's all I've played, haven't touched the single player campaign mode)

do you like RPG's? fallout3 and expansions, oblivion, sacred 2, dragon age origins,

Batman Arkham Asilyum, Uncharted 2, Infamous, (i would shy away from Prototype hyper repetitive)

Any of the Lego series games (Batman, Star Wars, Indiana Jones 1 & 2). There's also Lego Rockband.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is the only game I have until Gran Turismo 5 comes out. I had to stop playing because I was staying up way too late playing the game.

infamous is a little repetitive, but still fun. not too hard to platinum if you get into trophy hunting.
