Oil analysis results
Here is my 2zr's first oil analysis results. Aside from some additives and minor contamination(probably from the time this engine sat in the junk yard) it's a clean bill of health!

Five quarts of oil?
What else have they got wrong?

Honestly, the true dry to fill capacity might be closer to 5 qts, and I'm sure the 2zr could hold 5 without issue, so it really isn't that wrong. It holds 4.5 according to a drain and drill as per Toyota.

The 5 qts in the sump refers to the Yaris in the oil analysis.

Yes, but his Yaris has the 2zrfe in it. Maybe I'm not fully understanding this analysis. I was under the assumption, they pulled the oil from his vehicle and checked it, so he should of had at least 4.5 qts in it.

These oil analysis check only 5-6oz of your oil, they need to know your sump amount to calculate your percentages. The 2zrfe is 5qts dry.
