dear kcalb, where should I look for a 14' open trailer for my racecar?

Micro Image forums, online store and shop are now closed. It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific. |

Good question, Garmito!! When I bought my first one, I bought it used from a landscaping company. Yeah it has a few oil stains on it from the mowers, but so would most after use anyways unless you want to go aluminum. $3000would get you a new one nice and shiney in aluminum plus the tire rack I'm sure. But if you care to go used I would check with Uhaul, Penske, Mayflower, etc. All of the moving companies are a good place to start since most trailers have to be registered, you can pretty much say that it was inspected to meet the highways standards in CA.
Going new, you are looking at a dime a dozen as far as companies. |
