Toyota Yaris Amp Installation - Battery Issue
Hi guys, I'm relatively new to this forum so I'm still finding my feet!
I've installed an amplifier to my Toyota Yaris 2010 with the original HU (using a wiring kit). I installed the remote wire by splicing off the 12v ignition wire to the head unit and connected it to the amp remote section. When I connect the fused power wire from the car battery (+) to the amplifier (B+), not only does the amp fail to turn on but the central locking via the remote fob stops working. If I remote the wire from the battery (+), the remote locking functions again. Any ideas why this could be happening? Thanks in advance! |

You plug the remote to the power antenna.
