Cheapest Tires on Well Designed Rims, Solved
Walmart dot com, 185/70r14 sort price low
54 dollars each Get 14inch rims from a 90s civic, integra, or corolla. Maybe chevy geo prism metro. Civics and most other cars went to 15s in the year 2000. I'm tired of pretzeling my 15inch steelies and hammering them semi circular again. Will go this route when my r15s are bald R14s are cheaper, and the rims don't bend. Case closed for me! |

Experts say that most tire problems occurs during the last 10% of the tread and, I found out that to be very true.
Besides. tries with little tread can be dangerous. BTW, why do you have always have to hammer then circular again? One must learn not to curb tires and and possibly damaging them. if you just curb the sidewall of a tire (and not the rim) you can possibly damage/weaken the side wall. This has nothing to do with tread or parking. Who is hammering out curb rash? Hahaha. Just hitting potholes, suicidal deer, and unfinished road bumps. I do love the idea of parking so aggressively that my rims pretzel. Sounds like fun, thanks

I sent my yaris into a curb at about 25mph and 45 degree angle with the wheels full lock to the right, curb on the left. Pretzeled the wheel, control arm, and the power steering is alright, but the rack is still too tight, probably internally bent. I remember how fast that steering wheel flung. Amazing the car survived at all without airbag deployment
