Hello ALL Just Bought a Red 5 Spd Liftback

I was feeling a little ill on tues morning about 5am so I got on the pc. I had my heart set on a red liftback base 5 speed. I looked at Buyatoyota.com and BEHOLD a red Yaris due in 9/12 and they actualy had a picture of the car not a stock picture . I hurried up and got dressed and off th the dealer . She was setting in the parking lot and had 4 miles on her. I went inside and it was too early for the sales people they were in a meeting. I waited (seemed like a long time) then someone came to help and he checked the car was NOT presold!!!!!!!!!. A short few hours later she was mine. She has 15 inch wheels and cd player the only options... 13,800 out the door with all tax and junk fees...

Likes:
Setting high up and able to see well compared to other small cars.
feather light clutch.
Quiet ride.
Mp3 radio.
many storage compartments.
Decent power for a small car.
40 mpg

Dislikes
No tach.
car is so quiet it is hard to hear when you need to let the clutch out and apply gas. This would be better if it had a tach.
Gas pedal position makes foot tired after a little while.
No adjustment of int window wipers.

Overall
I love it.

agree. anyone with long legs will have shin splints at the end of a long ride...
i kinda turn my foot sideways, and use the lower corner of the pedal... seems to relax my legs a little..

MSRP was 12,890 add the dealer junk and destination fees was about 1k.
This dealer asks for ADR but if you are a internet customer they do not.
They are asking 5 to 1k additonal dealer retail for walkins .

i'm paying 13,2 out the door for my 5spd with convenience pkg which is probably the same exact config as yours. sounds like you paid a little more unless they stiffed you with that stupid "vehicle shield" pkg which is total crap. price on my yaris with convenience pkg is 12,223.09 plus tax, dealer fees, and etc. like i said, 13,2 out the door. i think i did pretty good.
