2010 Vitz RS Modellista Completed Car

Dear All,

Greeting from Bangkok, I am a newbie here. Actually I spent 2 years for MBA in the state (Arizona to be precise) and 2 years working as an investment banker in NYC prior coming back to Thailand running my family business almost 3 years ago.

Anyway, I just bought myself a 2010 Toyota Yaris for a daily commute in my hometown Bangkok, Thailand which has a reputation of horrible traffic jam and horrible road surface condition. All in all I have to say I love the car for fuel efficiency and easy to navigate around the city traffic but I always itching about doing some modification on the look. So I decided to order some, if not all, Vitz RS part from Japan. Below is the list of what I have been done to the car. Overall I am quite satisfy with the outcome of the new looks.

The exterior changed parts are including

Front

- New Vitz RS Front Bumper
- New Vitz RS Upper and Lower Front Grille
- New Netz logo
- New Vitz RS Logo
- New Vitz RS Japan Fog light
- New Vitz RS Smoked (Grey) Headlight (5 levels Adjustable)
- New Modellista Front Skirt (Waiting to be installed this weekend)

Side & Rear

- New Vitz RS Side skirt
- New Vitz RS Weather Gaurd
- New Vitz RS Rear Bumper
- New Vitz RS Rear LED Donut Brake Ligth
- New Vitz RS 6 LED Center Optional Brake light
- New Vitz RS Rear Foglight
- New Vitz RS Modellista Rear skirt
- New Vitz RS Emission Stickers
- New Vitz Rear Emblem
- New Vitz RS Modellista Duo Cat-back Exhaust System (Center Exit)

Wheels

- Volk Racing RE30 By Rays Engineering
Front wheels: 16" x 7" ET 45 with 2010 Yokohama Earth-1 Tyre (205/45 ZR 16)
Rear wheels: 16" x 7" ET 33 with 2010 Yokohama Earth-1 Tyre (205/45 ZR 16)
- New Rays Wheel Nuts

The interior changed parts are including

- New Multifunction Steering Wheels
- New Vitz RS Scuff Plate
- New Vitz RS Sport Pedal (Accelerator and Brake Pedal)
- New Vitz RS Trash Bin
- New Vitz RS Adjustable Head Lamp Button
- New Vitz RS Capet
- New Vitz RS Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror
- New Vitz RS Center Console Storage
- New TRD Automatic Shift Knob
- New Vitz RS Air-Condition Control Unit

Engine:

- K&N Performance Airfilter

I know that some will say "the car needs to be lowered" but I didn't make up my mind yet. I need a car that car carry 4 people around and this height of the car serve me well for the road surface in Bangkok which has a lot of pot holes etc. Also if I want to go for performance drive I can take my other car out of the weekend or night early morning sprint.

Anyway, Hope you guys like the pics of my car more or less. Comment are more than welcome and nice to meet all you guys here.

Best

Tony

Looks good.

Pot holes are problems you say. Have you thought about air ride suspension?
Have the dropped look when parked and raised when driving.

Agreed. It does look a liiiiitle off now that you mention it. I think the proper placement can be found in the Yaris repair manual...

Still, excellent work all around.

Dear Guys!

Thanks for all the warm welcome and compliments..I'm thrilled and really appreciate all of them.

Regarding of the Vitz RS sticker location on the rear doors, when I put the Vitz RS badge in I use the instruction that came with the one and measured it as close as possible. So I think it should be on the exact location (.

Several of Vitz RS conversion in Thailand that use OEM RS stickers are also put it in the same location as me (Pics attached below credit to Yaris-club Thailand). Anyway, I really appreciate all of your concern and input (both PK198105 and tk-421).

@Johnny_vitz: The modellista exhaust system is only a tad louder than OEM RS exhaust. I really love it

Dear Kimona,

I bought it from my friend in Thailand who always order & import genuine Vitz RS stuffs directly from Japan. I think you can find the sticker in yahoo auction japan. Cost me around $70-$75 a pair here in Thailand.

Best

I apologize. I thought we were talking about the rear Vitz badge, which looks a bit crooked to me... The stickers look fine IMO. Sorry about that!

But maybe it's the camera angle?

No need to apologize. And thanks for the comment...I'll check if the Vitz badge align properly

Cheers!

Front and back different emblem? You've changed rims a couple of times since getting the car recently? How much to change? May consider driving to Thailand for some mod(if time permits).
