6th is a super OD gear....its nice to do 2500rpm at 75mph

It's on my short list to replace the Yaris in a year or so. Probably the SX.

My buddy's got one, didn't go for a spin, but the interior is pretty damm nice.
Should be faster than the Yaris as well (138hp and 2500lbs).

If I were replacing the Yaris, it would be on my short list too! The new 2012 Yaris would definitely not be on that list!

Sometime next year the RIO will get the engine that shuts down when stopped ( http://onlocation.consumerreports.or...w/Kia_Rio.html ) . Many vehicles in JAPAN are like that . May think about that one . Want to wait and see how dependable they are . Also considering the 2012 SUBARU Impreza with the CVT that's rated 36 highway / 27 city or the FIT hybrid that possibly arrives late next year .
