P219A CEL code help
Hello, new to this forum. I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with this code?I took it to a Toyota dealer they're trying to charge a crazy diagnostic fee to try to figure out the problem as no one there had any experience with the code. I googled it and it does seem to be a pretty complicated one. I did the very basics (ensure fuel cap was tight and oil dipstick was in)
TL;DR version: did any one of you run into the P219A CEL code and how did you resolve the issue? |

Google search shows it as a common issue in 2zr engines (2012-2014) and it is usually due to exhaust valves not seating properly and leaking.
Not too sure about your issue with the 1nz but it's not a common problem in the 1nz from my experience. Is get a leak down test which would rule in/out valve issues
