jdubau55, it is on the exterior. It is the famed "Niteshades" spray tint that is a staple in the ricer's pantry. I am just partial to the smoked look and after going the vinyl route and seeing the nice results some of our members had with the spray, I figured what the hell. I spent a good hour taping outlines and getting them perfect. My Yaris doesn't have a lazy eye or anything. If you're going to do this, get it right the first time... tape everything, avoid overspray, do it in a warm, dry place free of dust and dirt, and let them dry before installing on the car.

Chris, thanks for the tips. I'll be sure to buff them out and clear them tomorrow.
No problem about the can, I can't get over how close our light look though. You smoke your tails yet? I think this time around I am going to tape off the reverse lamp only, so I can some what see backing out my driveway, or I could smoke the whole thing and install fog lamp bulbs for the reverse lamps.... Hmm... just a thought I am sure we will do plenty of tinkerin on Sunday, who knows what will happen when you get two bored Ohio boys together who want to mod there cars

You NEVER know. We could leave with Yarraris... right Nimble?

I smoked everything dude. Tails are smoked with the reverse light left alone just like before. Side markers are done, and the eyebrows are done. It looks fucking killer. Actually, I am considering not even buffing them. The environment I painted in was so clean that there are no spots, hairs or dust anywhere. Just looks like a kind of frosted smoked plastic. I am a lifelong Niteshades believer from here on in. I'd smoke my minivan's tail lights.
