FS: Blitz Supercharger Complete Kit

After a lot of thought (and after getting my latest credit card bill in the mail), I've decided to sell the Blitz Supercharger kit I recently purchased from yarisdarkness.

I installed the kit myself but had an issue with a vacuum leak when I attempted to reuse the included paper gasket without any kind of silicone or sealer. Because my car is a daily driver and my only means of transportation, I didn't have time to troubleshoot the issue and ended up just un-installing the entire kit to get the car running properly, but after a lot of help from the greats folks here and also several local performance shops, the problem with the gasket was diagnosed and will be a simple fix of just using gasket sealer next time.

I'd really love to keep it and reinstall it myself, but I'm in the process of moving and also changing jobs, so I really just don't have the time to install the thing or the money to drop on the required/recommended Boost, AFR, and Oil Pressure gauges.

According to yarisdarkness, the kit only has about 6,000 miles on it, and I can verify that it looks excellent and is still partially assembled.

The original sale thread can be found here and the kit is still in the same condition.

I paid $2,300 + shipping and, since it's still in the exact same condition as it was when I purchased it, I'm asking for $1,700 or best offer, plus actual shipping, which will be around $50 with insurance, and buyer covers Paypal fees, also around $50. I'm also including the correct colder spark plugs and PETERPOOP's black MicroImage S/C engine cover.

Bump for a great deal. Too bad the mods don't help. It's really sad the mods don't help.

I can help as long as I get asked for it (). Otherwise I have to bump into said thread in order to know there's a problem going on.

That is way too clean to sell! If no one jumps on it for that great price, I think you should pick up a tube of silicone gasket maker and head up here for a weekend.

My moon roof used to be my favorite mod, until I installed my supercharger.

I really appreciate the encouragement and the offer, Scott, and I'll definitely take you up on that if this thing doesn't sell within the next few weeks.

Wonder if this thing could be ported to help a little on IATs and horsepower? Anyone ever tried it?

What do you mean "what?" Just what I asked, has anyone ever taken this thing apart and looked to see if any of the inlets or piping could be ported to add horsepower and lower intake air temperatures (IAT). It is a roots blower, so my thought is that if you can get it apart pretty easily there may be some improvements to be had.

its an aluminum supercharger attached right to the block....the supercharger gets hot and ported it won't help with that.

you'd be better off finding a liquid-to-air intercooler sandwhich plate to lower the IAT's

Porting could help with overall efficiency though, and even IATs until it becomes soaked, which would be pretty quickly. A liquid-feed lower intake mani would be awesome, seems like there is plenty of space in the engine bay for a reservoir too.

If I understand the theory correctly, the only thing that has been done for cooling is running with methanol injection.

Oh yeah, bump for the OP ;)

Your better off not worrying about anything above and worry about proper and safe engine management so you don't grenade your motor, spin a bearing, break a rod or melt a piston from excessive or pre detonation.
