2011 Ford Fiesta Test Drive

FYI, I had the opprotunity to drive the 2011 Ford Fiesta. It was a very nice little car. Full report below:

Didn't read your write-up yet, but that's one ugly car - it may be just the ugly graphics that ruin it - but it's a bit too long IMHO.

Maybe it's just the graphics. It's about the same size as the Yaris ...

I can't wait to test one of these out. Now if only they'd bring the Focus ST to North America I'd be a happy man.

Great write up.

Thanks.

Like I said in the article, until you get up next to a car, it's hard to get a real idea of size. But trust me: The Fiesta is nothing near huge. FYI, my car is lowered on coilovers, yet the Fiesta's roofline is a about the same if not a bit lower.

I've been very interested in the new Fiesta since seeing drawings a few years ago. When GM brought the Opel/Vauxhall Astra over here, I thought they had a winner, but the lousy engine we wound up getting killed it for me. Hopefully Ford won't ruin the domestic version we will get over here. Thanks for passing along the article.

There's a bit of me that hopes GM will bring over the Opel Corsa, the Astra's smaller cousin. Corsa vs. Fiesta would be interesting ...
