showcase your 17" or 18" with stock s sedan suspension, YEY!
hi, i've had experience with 16" rims + 1" lowered suspension using 40 tires and i was disappointed with the hard ride. so now im stuck between ordering since 1st i thought 45r17s would be a softer ride but then im on stock suspension so it might not be that bad with 35r18s
215/35R18 or 205/45R17 i was wondering if the ride difference between the 2 above setups are huge enough to be a concern. i will be installing them(which ever i decide on) with stock suspension. im ready to buy, just not sure. pics would be great (i was also wondering how the height between the tires and car looks as far as those 2 setups are concerned). thanks! I just stuck with a clean 15 on a 225/50VR15, with the wide footprint she corners like a dream, with the lower profile than stock she looks sharp. BTW those of you going to an 18 inch use a 225/30R18... it is the exact diameter of our stock size tires.

ya, nice look with low profile 50s instead of the stock 60s
BUT which setup would look less like 4x4ish on my current s sedan with stock suspension: 205/35R18? 205/45R17? not for nothing, rockin' the 15" hub caps aren't that bad while i wait for all your advices. Last edited by manborn; 10-07-2006 at 04:45 PM. |

the correct size would be 225/30R18 to keep with the same diameter at stock.... everyone told be 225 would be too wide for a Yaris... well I have them with no problems
