2008 yaris radio (help)

my radio in my 2008 yaris 2 door has a bad cd player and the faceplate number is 11833 and I want to put another factory radio in it, does the faceplate number have to be the same? thanks

No. You can use a wide variety of Toyota and Scion Radios. Basically, as long as the it is the same shape Toyota/Scion Radio, it will work, as Toyota used the same connectors with the same pinout for quite some time.

2008 yaris radio

so if the faceplate number is not the same and the plugs look the same it will work also would I need to get it coded? or just plug and play. thanks

Different models of radio, which most likely means from a different year or just a different package of options.

A guy has one on ebay that looks like my radio and has the same plugs on back He said it came out of a 2010 yaris liftback hope it will work.

It will work without question. The display will be backlit orange on the 2010.

The cheapest one I can find on eBay right now goes for $64 free shipping. How about $50 plus shipping, which should be about the same?

Mine's guaranteed to work, and looks look new.
