What is the best glass repair kit for rock chips?

Please post your experience with which brand kit you used and the results. Today going home a rock flew from i dont know where since there were no other cars around me lol and hit my window. Left to small nicks. In the middle of the windshield and its really bothering me. I heard there are several DIY kits out there that inject resin in to the crack and usually fix it completely if not making it 90 percent better.

I didn't even know this was possible for chips, had the same thing happen to me last week, the county has stripped the highway for what reason IDK, but they didn't sweep that well afterwards, and rocks were flying everywhere.

You can stop the spread of the crack, but you will never get the structural stability back, without replacing the window.

in Cali? I can tell you where it came from - some douchebag with a 12 inch lift and no mudflaps.

Okay so i got a repair kit from kragens but being a dumb ass i did it while it was cloudy and not sunny and i guess it uses the ultravioilet light from the sun to cure. When i was done it was still liquid so just wiped it off with a rag and going to buy another kit tomorrow and try again.

Have you asked your insurance company? Mine will do chips and I also know that the local glass shops will usually do them cheap.
