Talking 2ZR aftermarket stuff at monkeywrench racing!

This is an unpaid/un-endorsed plug! I've looked into lots of different stuff on the site over the years, and they've started adding some real serious upgrades to their catalog for the 2ZR engine. I know that there's only a handful of us out there with this swap, but those of us who have done it tend to be very interested in this level of stuff (cams, crankshafts, forged internals, etc.) I'm getting all light headed thinking about 8500 RPM redline with 12:1 pistons and a straight pipe exhaust.

I've talked to the guys at MWR a few times and I have my eye on the 12:1 pistons.....

Really? I would think that the 9:1 pistons would go better with the TKC kit...

Yeah you're probably right. I know turbo is the most efficient way to make power, but man I love the character of a high strung n/a build...
