Yes - It is possible and not all that hard to do. I am running a European leather RS one on my Yaris (but without the audio controls). To use the audio controls you will need to also get the airbag that goes with them, since the airbag cover is different.
Here's a video that I put together a while back on removing the steering wheel and clock spring to change the headlight stalk, but in your case you would just need to go as far as removing the airbag and the steering wheel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgWSzVeILhc

so its pretty much plug and play? with the different clock spring does that mean that there is additional wiring needed for them to operate

In markets where the audio controls are not offered (like here in the US), you have to change the clockspring to one that has more wires in it for the audio controls. If the audio controls are offered in your area, then you probably already have the correct clockspring to support the audio controls. To use the audio controls you will need to also add the wiring between the steering column and the radio.

I know for sure the 2006-2008 scion tC wheel fits, not sure about the clockspring but I am betting it is a direct fit to our column from the tC.
You can pick up fairly cheap an tC steerign wheel from ebay or junkyard and source out the clockspring, worst comes to worse you just end up with the wheel which our airbag bolts up to as well, but no controls. |

They are not easy to come by - ebay, junkyard, for sale section here. The RS (or TS from Europe) one does just bolt one and the airbag fits perfectly.

Yes. If you have a manual transmission, you also need the cruse control clutch switch, but your 2010 is pre-wired for cruise.
