Soon we'll see the headlines:

"Authorities suspect environmental terrorism as driver takes out large SUV using his lightweight car, killing himself in the process. Bystanders heard screams of "Banzaiiii!" before the impact."

My Yaris handles like a dream! I thought most Yarii came with antilock brakes too. What up with those haters down at CR? Were they possibly referring to the sedan?

The problem with CR's road test ratings is they don't divulge the weights used to calculate the overall scores. These legitimately vary from person to person, but it's not possible to tell how closely theirs match yours.

Aside from this, I have few issues with their road test ratings. Their reliability research, that's another story. Many major problems of which most people are unaware, starting with the survey. My critique:

Consumer Reports survey critique

A number of people here are already helping me create a superior alternative.

I totally agree, and I think that this is the point that people are missing- the Yaris can still be a great car for the money, even with those issues.
