My new online store for my computer biz and YW decals
I just opened up my new online store, trying to sell surplus computer equipment and other odds and ends (like YW decals). So if you're in need of some decals or surplussed computer equipment check it out. All profits go to paying my bills, and mods . I don't have MUCH up right now, but am slowly adding stuff all the time.
http://geekwerks.ecrater.com/ Also if anyone else is interested in setting up a online store it was free, and pretty easy to do. Last edited by Astroman; 10-13-2010 at 02:38 PM. |

Malwarebytes doesn't like your site. I had to allow it to add two ip's to the ignore list for it to load...

Weird, my stuff didn't alert me of anything... Are you using the pro version of malwarebytes? I found out about ecrater from lifehacker.com. I'm running Sophos Enterprise protection along with the free malwarebytes and Spybot and it hasn't alerted me of any issues

And can I get them off easily, if time comes to sell (not that I foresee ever wanting to).

The decals are easy to install, and can be used on glass just fine, along with relatively smooth surfaces except for unpainted concrete, unfinished wood, you get the idea. Best is to clean the area with rubbing alcohol NOT windex or other cleaners as they will leave a residue, possibly not dry fast enough, and cause the decal to fall off. You peel off the backing paper, and using the edges of the transfer tape, position the decal. When your satisfied, use a item like a body filler squeege (or a credit card/store discount card can work, as long as it has a flat edge and is flexible) and starting work from the inside out in ONE direction from center smoothing the decal, then peel back the transfer tape.
Its easy to remove the decal anytime. You can either use a razorblade on the glass, or you can just pick them off. Also heat from say a hair dryer will soften it up. Then use something like rubbing alcohol and you can clean up any leftover adhesive, but if you remove the decal properly most of the adhesive will come off on the decal. |

EDIT: If possible I'd prefer a sticker that sticks from the inside either works though.
