OEM Fog Light Brackets?
I'm wanting to install the full OEM fog light setup for my 2011Yaris sedan. Ok I have the 2 outter fog light shrouds & the fog lights, the relay, & the factory fog light control stalk, but I think I'm still missing something. I haven't removed the bumper nor checked under it, but on the sedan fog lights, do I also need to order a LH & RH bracket, cuz it seems like I'm missing some kind of bracket piece to attach the fog lights to! If so, what's the part #'s for the LH & RH brackets?
Thanks in advance! |

like Scott is saying,
the lights slip in the slots molded in the bumper.

Awesome! Thanks a ton guys. Last question: Is the 2011-2012 Yaris sedan pre-wired for fog lights near the bumper?

No. The wiring is only present from the headlight stalk connector to the under hood fuse panel.

Sorry for all the questions. I thought I had this researched well, but the finer details eluded me. |

Did you light come with an aftermarket harness? If so, the easiest thing to do is to modify that. To connect it to the OEM wiring you would need two pins for one of the under-hood fuse panel connectors. I stock them if you need them.

Na I don't have any kind of harness I'm afraid. All I need is a harness or wires to connect the 2 fog lights up so that they work.

I did a search and I think the PN for the OEM harness is 8211252430....big bucks though.

That's the complete harness from the fuse box to the headlights, fogs, and quite a few other things. There is an add on harness that is part of the OEM fog light kit, but it isn't available separate from the kit.

Couldn't he make up his own harness with fuse box pins you have for sale? That's assuming he has the plugs at the light end of the harness..

Yes. That would be the least expensive solution.

All I need is some kind of wiring solution that will connect the fog lights to the underhood fuse box. That is the million dollar question. One thing I can do is contact Micro Image to see if they can make a custom harness, because when it comes to wiring I'm clueless. |

I see 2 different part #'s that appear to be for the same thing. 8211252200 & 8211252201. 8211252200 says 2012 TOYOTA Yaris SEDAN 1500CC 16VALVE DOHC EFI, AUTOMATIC. It doesn't really matter as it is not the harness you should be buying. If Garm comes up with an offer for a partial harness for you, the ends that twist lock onto your lights might not be a match. If I were you i would just buy the entire kit from MicroImage and just use your light stalk with it. Put the stuff you have for sale on ebay and you will be better off. So you will have $200 in the entire thing minus what you unload on ebay. Then the guy that buys your stuff ebay will be on here scratching his head on how to "make it work." I'm guilty of doing that and have learned from it. Really, I think you will be better of doing that if you can't make a wire harness. By the way, if you go to YouTube and type in "bairjo", one of my videos will show you how I did my fog light install with the oem stalk....hope that it helps ya out. Good luck with whatever direction you choose to go.
