I was aware it was a repost, just letting people know that those units, if they did like them, would fit our car, its a Hanabi-made aftermarket unit, personally, I think they're ugly, but figured someone might like em.

Ive done this for other cars i've owned.... why not just get the "car side" plug that goes with the LED tails? This way, you cut/solder/shrink wrap the cars wires to the correct plug for the LEDs, and just pop it in. Done.

I agree.. this sounds better idea. Get the LED plug and tap it from the OE wiring. The installation is much cleaner and don't need to worried about swapping it back to the OE tail light.

I think it is better to mod the plug on the LED light to match the body one, I dont know it will work or not. But it will be better if you have warranty on the car since you mod the light not the harness that attach the car. but I might be wrong.

you're speaking my language. All you need is the chassis-side wiring harness from the JDM Vitz RS AND A USDM taillight-side wiring harness (basically, cut the ends off of your USDM taillights, which i won't do so i gotta locate some brand new ones or find a wrecked Yaris..or buy someone's old USDM taillights for experimenting...)

VOILA..no cutting of your NEW YARIS's wires.. this is what I did when I upgraded taillights on my last 4 cars (kouki!!!!!)

Do they come with the proper connectors needed to hook them up?
