ECU Identificacion
Please help me out here. I need the ECU list for Toyota Yaris from 2007-2009 at least. I need to identify my ECM that was robbed and now polices haves it. They are asking me to proof that is mine. I know that for example first 5 digits like 37820 corresponds to Honda ECU's and the middle number that starts with always a "P" and the 2 digits forward tells the year, like "PM5," which indicates a 1988-1991 Honda Civic or CRX while. I need that kind of information for Toyota Yaris and can't find it online. Please if someone knows where to find this I will thank so much, this will save my car.

There is nothing on the outside that will equate the ECM with your specific car. The ECM is programmed with the car's VIN number though, so if one were to put it in a car and poll it with a Toyota TechStream tool one would see your car's VIN.

Based on your VIN, the EPC says that your car had either 89661-52G50 or 89661-52F11 as the ECM part number.
