Need some suspension advice for the wifes car.
My wife's 2013 Yaris has around 245k miles and I am wanting to replace the struts/shocks on it. I have looked thru the forums and decided it was easier to ask.
Its her daily driver and does not need to be performance.I have been shopping on rock auto but brands and price vary greatly. I do not want to sink a ton of money into a car with this many miles so any advice on what to get/replace would be greatly appreciated! |

Go with the Gabriel Ultra struts and shocks. They are comfortable. I would not go with KYBs. The ride will beat you to death.

Agreed, the KYBs are too stiff. I recently went back to shocks & springs from coilovers and am very happy with the Bilsteins.

Thanks for the advice.Wish I had seen this before ordering all KYB. I am wondering if I will have a issue.I got 2 of the rear shocks .One was made in Mexico and other Japan. They are the same dimensions but look different by the paint/color of some parts.
