My 2007 Yaris after a couple months of ownership
http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/pic...pictureid=6189
I own a 2011 Tacoma and got tired of putting KMS on it driving around so I decided to get the next best thing for just around town and long trips. A YARIS! Couple months back I picked up a 2007 Yaris hatch 5 speed with 108 000 kms (67500 mi) for only $3400 Cnd + tax ($2500 usd). What a sweet ride for so cheap. I bomb around in this thing 24/7 over my truck for double the gas mileage and a smooth ride. Things I added: -Keyless entry -Front weather tech mats -New cabin, engine, and oil filter with 0w20 sythetic -Bought 4 steelies and winter tires for about the same price of one truck tire -Bought a heated seat kit (not installed yet) -Changed out the MT fluid with 75W90 royal purple (wow what a difference) -Bought some brake fluid to flush out the old (did not do yet) - After reading the threads here on some more maintenance. I checked the vertical control arm bolts and they did not look too bad. I also noticed what I suspected was the exhaust a bit loose must be the doughnut gasket like people have said on here. I'll change that out soon. Also I am going to dose it with fluid film underneath like my other vehicles because I live in NS and about 14 seconds from the ocean so its a must. Is there any other advice I should focus on? Anything different when bleeding the brakes? I also plan on doing a coolant flush because I have some left over from my Tacoma I did last month and that can never hurt. Any help would be awesome. This site kicks ass! First post vanishing act yet again.
Here at least is the mouse over balloon teaser of what the content of the original post was.
