Smaller diameter intake pipe = moar velocity?
So I was thinking, what if i changed my intake pipe (currently the stock 2.5ish inch rubber piece) to something with an ID of 2inch, and add a a bellmouth before the pod... would this increase air velocity, or would 2in be too small and harm performance?
edit: what the hell happened to the other post in this thread? Last edited by mick.wheelz; 06-02-2010 at 09:35 PM. |

You don't want to mess with the intake pipe Ø. The MAF meter relies on that Ø to meter the incoming air properly.
