Scion Xd throttle body for the intake manifold being made by richard.

Doesn't the Xd utilize the same Throttle body as the TC.

Just get a 05 corolla TB or you can go with a TC. Both fit on the stock Yaris manifold so with Richard's manifold you should get even greater flow.

I think the diameter opening of the TC TB is slightly bigger then the corolla TB. The xD TB should be closer in diameter to the corolla TB since they are both 1.8L engines.

Well I figure It should be the same but not from what i hear. I don't want the engine to throw a CEL if I get too big of a diameter. servco is a rip

yah i saw threads before the hack about the carolla TB but didn't read much on it. i know people do the TC TB, i guess either of those would be better than the stock!

I've had the corolla TB on for about 10k miles. No problems with CELs using Simota CAI.

2005 and up Corolla TB. Off the 1ZZ-GE engine. Same on the Matrix as well. Just find the ones that are drive-by-wire.

stick with trying to find the xd one seeing as its a direct bolt on and richard has based ALL his findings on it. the other 2 have been used before with little or no problems but id stick with the scion one until richard chimes in other wise.....

The problem with tracking down the Xd TB is the fact that the car hasn't been out long enough for these to be plentiful.

The xD is the replacment for the xA, more or less.

xB is referred to now as first gen (1.5L) and second gen (2.4L)

xD is a grown up Yaris...

...oh and according to Richard's testing the larger TB was good only for a couple of extra hp. IMO the mod would be worth it only if you can source it for really cheap!
