That may be for first-gen only. Sorry dude, I'm trying to remember which vendor sold the badges on their site. I'll track it down in the next hour here for you. Be prepared, its expensive... I think 40-50 shipped.

Fack. I can't remember the damn vendor... someone help. There was one supporting vendor who sold all the JDM goodies, like the swinging doors for the storage spots beneath the head unit. Who the HELL was that?! They have your badges.

I wonder if a Canadian dealer would host a GB.

I dont mean to be a goof, but isn't it a little sketchy to put the RS badge on the car if it isn't actually an RS?
I have seen people put badges on their car to make it look like the next model up, which has a bigger engine or whatever. I suppose that would make people think that you actually had the different engine. That said, there is no difference in engine, handling, etc between models of the yaris. It is all cosmetic changes and add-ons. Anyone who looked at the car and saw the RS badge but not the cosmetic changes would know that you had just glued on a badge. If it were me, I would rather have someone appreciate my NON RS for what it is and the mods I had made to it rather than cheapen it by "faking" it. Just my thoughts... |

Since the RS package is just a trim package and not a performance package, it doesn't bother me. If the RS package included a beefed-up engine, I wouldn't even think about it. That is just lame.
Bottom line, I just like the badge and the placement. I've never really seen a badge that goes on the grill off-center before. I want to get my hands on one and paint the red lettering blue. |

I thought the standard non-US Yaris have a 1.3L engine while the RS model has a 1.5L engine. Am I wrong? In that case all US models would be an RS.

But it depends by country... In Europe for example they only have the 1.0, 1.3 and 1.3 (or 1.4?) diesel engines... Here, as well as the US and Canada, only the 1.5 is available.
