wtb armrest
Had some good offers when i asked for this a year ago, but had insufficient funds then. Taxes will be in soon, in about two weeks, and I still want an armrest for my 07 hatch. Anyone have one for sale? also, I've seen three different models, anyone have any opinions as to which to/not to buy?
Thanks

I have the one from MI.
It was kinda low for me, so I made a spacer to raise it up. Still would like it a little higher though. It has storage inside, unlike others that are nothing but an armrest. |

I have an armrest I got from the car when I bought it. It has a cupholder to compensate for the fact that it sits IN the factory cup holder. It also attaches to the base of the two front seats via a metal rod. I don't remember how it was installed, but I'm sure with some tinkering you could figure it out.

My wife has the one that is an Armrest only. Works good for the Driver or Passenger, but not both. I have seen the one w/storage, but with what Brianr4 says I would pass on it. Our Yaris has enough storage spaces as is.

Used some washers under the original console to raise that up about an inch. Then I cut a piece of wood to fit in the console cupholder, which the armrest sits on. Used a long screw I found to hold it all together.
Kinda moves side to side a bit, because of the added height to the original console, but it can only move slightly since it will just push against the seats. |

I have a factory arm rest from my '09 hatchback. I pulled it off of it after I rolled it and never installed in on my '10. I would consider selling it.....I used it for about 7 months & 13K miles, so it is as-new. LMK if you're interested.
