i went from coilover to prokits for the winter, so my view of them and their ride is skewed

but i had prokits on my matrix as well (way back when) and loved them too

plus, the million mile warranty is hard to beat.

quality > price in this case

here is my car on prokits....its about 1" drop front and rear

I've tried both Tanabe NF srpings and Tein S-tech. For all out handling S-tech is the way to go but they are way too stiff for any comfortable ride esp if the road are bumpy. So in the end i removed my S-tech and re-install back the NF. NF is the BEST comfort springs as near as the stock springs!!

I enjoyed pro-kits in my previous ride, '95 Talon TSI AWD. Well, until both front springs broke just two weeks apart. The springs came from TireRack (self imported to Canada) and had several years and gave ~150 thousand kilometers of service. Returning them for warranty was not viable. So...time for a new ride. Here I am in a Yaris. Down 100 hp but up 17 mpg.

wait, you sold a talon just because the springs broke? Man, you're nuts.

No, it was 13 years old with 325,000 kilometers and the front strut towers were rusting out. Still ran strong though. The broken springs (which I switched back to stock) were just my inspiration.
I commute 100 kilometers daily so inevitably a new ride was in the cards.
