powder coating..
hey guys i just took off the intake part of the supercharger.. and grinded the weld spot down and going to get it powdered coated red.....what u guys think?...

I think it'll look good if you are accenting the rest of your engine bay with red. If you sand it with like a 60 grit flap disk, it'll be cheaper, because the powdercoater won't have to do any prep work, so they will only charge you to actually powdercoater. Or contact your powdercoater, and see what he would prefer you to do for prep work.

well everything else in my engine bay is red... so it will match...
yeah.. i will ask them to do a little more prep work b4 they do the coating....... |

No, I meant ask them what needs to be done, and then u do it. You will save a good amount of money that way. They usually won't mind doing a small spot that you may have missed, but the more prepped you bring it to them the faster they will have it done, and the less itll cost you.
