What car does this fit on??

Scion?? Yaris??

I hope I'm wrong when I say this but I was told that Toyota never made a strut tower bar for a Yaris. I looked everywhere for a factory TRD upper tower bar.

Please advise, Marty

They did make one for the Yaris but it was discontinued back in '07 or early '08.

Ugh, another single post user in a FS thread...

I'm wondering on the fitment on a Yaris as well, also whether or not shipping would even be considered. (caveat - see above)

^ With a well-written classified ad, that probably wouldn't happen as much.

I'd pick it up myself, but not when I can sell brand new adjustable Tanabe bars for about the same.

Not a single post son, check my join date. True I haven't posted in a while. I used to post in the electronics forum. Everything was erased in the hack...but you wouldn't know about that would you.

Interesting, I was told the opposite by Crown in Ont. Maybe someone can confirm but I think that PN fits both the yaris and XD.

You mean the hack that happened in 2008, a year after you joined, and you've been silent for 4+ years? Still doesn't instill much trust, IMO.

Either way, GLWS, someone will really benefit from this mod.

Suckerface what's with the attitude?? He joined before the hack and he did post a lot in the electronics section. Your behavior towards another member just based on their post count is inappropriate. Yes there are plenty of threads in the f/s section from low posters, or pickup only in california. But this is no reason to be mean. Toyota did make this part briefly available for the yaris, just as they did the JDM toyota TRD muffler that was only available for a few months before the USDM version arrived.

Please be nice guys ok? His asking price is reasonable, and he hasn't been on for a while.

Brian, I did not know that TRD actually made one for the Yaris HB.
Would you or anyone else have the part # or even a pic of one installed
on a HatchBack???????

The reason I ask is that in November I'm going to Thailand for a month
and if I had a part # then I could investigate obtaining one (or two) to
bring back to the states with me.

Anyone with a part # or pics on or off the car??? HatchBack only.

Sold.

It would have been nice to confirm this really is the Yaris pn but an XD owner picked it up.
