Question 2004 Canadian Echo Hatchback Fog light Kit ( OEM Style )

Hello everyone.

I'm trying to figure which Echo,Vitz or Yaris in the world has some Fog Lights that I can put in my Canadian Echo Hatchback.

I've remove the 2 for light cover and there is a place to put some in and I also saw a couple Canadian member here that has some on their car.
I want OEM look.

I have ordered some fog light cover from England hoping they will fit my car ( haven't receive them yet as of Oct 31st 2013 ) .
I also bought some European OEM style Yaris/Vitz 03-04 from Latvia ( Next to Russia ) they don't fit.

I bought a set of 03-05 North American Echo Sedan fog lights . They don't fit ( not talking about the bezel ) but the light itself , very close fit but they are pointing both toward outside the car , not a lot but enough to not look right so I'm sure there is something somewhere because a couple member has some here.

Here's a few "cell phone" shots of my car but I have added some RS side skirt since those pics. were taken.

Here's a few shots with the RS side skirt on but no full view yet.

Quality of the cell phone pics. are terrible.

Here's a few shots without the cover on , you clearly see it is made to receive fog lights.

Thanks for your help.

Euro fog lights are different and obviously don't fit.

These cars are becoming rare.. parts are hard to find now.

btw, did you car come lowered? Do you have power door locks with the Toyota fob?

LOL i've been trying to find where my old echo was sold to.

A great looking car!
Can't a Toyota dealer help you with the proper fogs?

the kit that were available as an option were PIAA lights, that sits in the lower grill. Not that you are looking for.

I already did a while back.

Fog light I bought are for Highlander , MR2 , Echo , Prius part number 81221-52070 & 81211-52070 and I don't think they work .

They are pointing toward the outside.

I think the one that would fit maybe part number # 81220-52053 & 81210-52053 from a Yaris T Sport somewhere on earth and I'm not sure about the year.

For light cover I picked up are from a UK Yaris 01-05 .

The for light covers I received today.
52128-0D020 & 52127-0D060
Not good .

81482-52080 is a Left side cover for a 04-05 Canadian Echo HB Hatchback.

It's like the Caramilk secret .

Also bought a set of UK Yaris fog lights thinking my car was like the parts diagram picture above but wrong again .

03-04 Yaris Vitz .

I'm going to have a fog light garage sale when my hunt is done.

If people around the world recognize something please feed me .

I think the ones that fit in are correct. because of the shape of the bumper, the lens shapes toward the outside.

have you tried lighting them up see how it shows up?
My yaris fogs lights up very very wide, and covers the distance between the bumper and the headlight.

edit: you can ask davelarouche on http://clubecho-yarisquebec.com and SlayerX301 seems to have the same kit too..

this is the sedan fog lights.. and he cut the OEM trim.

there are no other way to get the trims for the fogs.

Did you try to light up the set you installed see how the light points? From your pictures, i think they look right.

Also, if you are looking for the corner lights.. the lexus IS300 comes with the clear corner lights that fit right into the echo hatch.

If it's the case he did a heck of a job because you see a lip that will joint the fog itself , it looks OEM to me but you maybe right.
I'd like this guy to step in .

I did buy a Sedan 03-05 Echo eBay fog light kit thinking it was the same.

Yesterday I bought some 9006XS bulb because the end ( pigtail ) is straight instead to be angle , this should give me more room to make the Fog pointing the right way. ( I'll show you with pics. later )

This is a better view , you can see it is pointing toward the outside.

Sorry, haven't checked in here in a while. I have the fog lights from the Highlander/Prius, they are the OEM toyota glass fogs. I was able to find an OEM style switch and wiring harness kit made for the Echo sedan to use with these fogs. I'm using them with 3K HID's. My car is Post #14 above...
I did have to trim the OEM covers, used a hole saw and cleaned it up with a file. Not perfect but good enough for me lol
