how hard was the install? for a person with auto knowledge? I have installed turbo kits flawlessly so I know my way around cars. is it like plug and play or is there any wire cutting and splicing..

Got mine, very cool! For now I have just ran the cable under the steering wheel into the drivers glove-compartment. Here is a pic, I just open the glove-compartment when I want to see the RPM/WaterTemp/Mpg, etc
If the glove-compartment door isn't real expensive, I might order another one, and cut a hole out, then mount it to the door itself |

Awesome! Thanks for the Write-up on the Scangauge unit!!! I'm gonnna have to get me one of those. Does the MPG seem correct after a few tanks of gas?? do you end up filling up with the same amount as it states you use?
THANKS AGAIN!!

I have a scanguage II and its amazing! I asked about the mpg in another thread and I believe its fairly correct...there's instructions in the booklet on how to set up the device for mpg...you have to put in your engine size, size of tank and go to the fill-up section and push done everytime you fill up. It tells you miles you driven, average mph, max rpm just driven and so on.
