Engine Cover paint, and some moddage

I'll update with more pics.

Red NST pulley sould match up nice... along with a few other red goodies in/around the car... culminating with (possibly) a 2 tone paint job, red on the bottom... or maybe a red stripe... who knows what will happen.. but, its red and silver all the way

-----------

Painted :)

next comes mounted pics, after some drying and buffing

I was just thinking of doing this.... what paint did you use, and are you planning on putting the lettering back on? I was gonna do mine in white w/black lettering (theme of car: white, black, with blue accent's)

You can always mask the letters before painting and leave them in the original black. Not fancy looking, but gets the job done...
Or paint them before the rest and mask them. Either way works

the letters, I'd paint them first, then mask em off and paint the rest, i think that would be the easiest way.

thx! :)

I filled in the indentations in the front and rear, and softened the edges all around, with the yaris emblem I think it just finishes it off.

I think red highlights here and there in the engine bay will work nice, along with aluminium intake with red lettering, something like that... then just needs some red lighting
