Broken side panel
Good morning and happy easter to everyone. Last night my boyfriend and I got into a fight and out of anger, he broke the plastic surrounding the switches on the driver's side door. Thankfully, all the switches still work! It doesn't look bad at all and that piece looks like it can be easily replaced. I was wondering if anyone knows how I can fix it (I don't mind gluing it back), or where I can order the part? I would rather not take it to the dealership because they would charge me an arm and a leg to do a 5 minute job. =/

Shut your fricken suck!!!

Replace the boyfriend first before the panel! It's hard to find replacement parts for your face. Post up on the WTB(Want to Buy) section that your looking for this part. There should be someone out there in Yarisworld that has an extra one of these lying around.

^ no kidding.
I think that part will not be that expensive at your dealership, maybe $20 at the most?

Before you replace the boyfriend, make him replace the panel!
You could try gluing it back together, but why should you have to put up with am obviously repaired part that was broken because he can't control his anger? It will be a valuable lesson to him that his actions have consequences, and he will be held responsible...

Heck, if it will keep you from talking to the idiot again (even just to get him to pay for the damage), I'd gladly toss in $5 towards a new panel!
Smart move dumping him, actions like that are usually indicators of bigger issues that will manifest themselves down the road. Getting mad is one thing, taking it out on inanimate objects is another...

Seriously, as the Yaris is such a cute car, violence against a Yaris is really like violence against a dog or a cat.

Sorry about your situation. I'm sure that part is cheap from the dealer.
