Road Trips
I live in Calgary Alberta Canada and will be driving my new Yaris to Toronto for a road trip this summer (3600km each way (2200mi)). I am already getting 42mpg in the city. Will make sure to post pics and mileage along the way.
Anyone else planning on long road trips with their Yaris' |

Ya... the quickest route is south of Winnipeg into Minneapolis/St Paul to Detroit and back into Canada. Last time I did that trip, was in a friends SMART car... we certainly got the eye.

We have a few bigs trips coming up. Two to Pennsylvania (7hrs), one to New Jersey (9hrs). Should be interesting to see what sort of mileage we get since we're used to getting killer mileage with the Prius - although on these sorts of trips hauling lots of gear and dogs it's not as good as it usually is.

i'm going to boston, from london, ontario, about 10 hrs,
i just got back from toronto this past weekend and i really took it easy on the highway (110 km (70 mph) topspeed) and for just over 500 km (310 m) distance travelled, i used only the top half of the tank!! i will post the results when i fill it up next |
