The easy removal of the rear text badges has built up my courage. Think I might try that this weekend...I think the matte black would look good on bayou blue...even with the silver looking rims.

After looking closer at the front, I don't know. The black plastic that silhouettes the front emblem is too textured to easily paint the car's color and then paint the emblem black. I think that even a dull silver to match the wheels up front might look good, but I still like the idea of the black ass badge...Any other ideas?

Glossy, dull? I like the idea of the front one standing out a bit, i just don't know how it would look set on black. Has anyone posted pics of the front in black?

...by the way, for those who were able to remove the T emblem, is there much force to pull it off? Did you use any kinds to tools? How do you remove it safely?
Thanx in advance! |

It isn't perfect. Up close you can tell that I did it by myself. I think that after heating it up and pressing it in tighter, it will look better. There is also a little sliver of black paint I accidentally took off with an exacto knife. As long as you are a few feet back I think it looks pretty good. Hoping that 35% tint will add to the effect. New mud flaps too.

Bacon, I think your Toyota badge is nice in black. The overall look of the tail is very clean. Good job!

Hmmm, doesn't look quite right to me. IMO. Maybe you need something more... like black mudguards, or a black rear bumper protector... What do you think?
